Berkeley Academy
Designing and delivery training program at the Berkeley Academy.
Tutor – providing academic tutoring to low-income kids courtesy of the program (9, 10*, 11*, 12), 1 hr/wk, ~20 wk/yr
Fall course design and teaching -Collaborated in creating and teaching an extracurricular course for the Berkeley Academy Fall Program concerning Art (Teaching)
The Berkeley Academy is a FREE, signature service program offered by Berkeley Preparatory School that is aimed at helping highly motivated students from low-income households in our Tampa Bay community reach their unique potential and achieve their dream of going to college. The Berkeley Academy is committed to ensuring that all of its students have the preparation, skills, and knowledge necessary to succeed in college and beyond. This is accomplished through a six-year program that starts the summer before a student’s seventh grade year and ends upon the completion of high school. Selected students are mentored and guided over the course of six years on weekends and during Summer Break so that the learning cycle never ends.
Cleaning Tampa Bay
I am passionate about the environment. We all should respect and care for our Mother Nature. I volunteer on regular basis to clean the water front from debris and help keep the water and the bayshore clean for others to enjoy!
Feeding Tampa Bay
We all flourish when barriers are lowered, and possibilities are elevated. Nearly 1 million people in our community are just one layoff, tragedy or disaster away from needing assistance. These hard-working neighbors need more than a meal. They need a community that champions our collective success. I volunteer on regular basis at Feeding Tampa Bay.
Putting a Smile on Student Face daily
Art is about influencing others and giving them an experience that leaves an impression on them and their lives. Collaborating on designing and executing a mural with an uplifting message and tone to elementary school in our area.

Tutoring
Berkeley Writing Center
volunteered to review, critique, & provide feedback to students’ writing assignments to strengthen their writing; Improved tutoring and critiquing skills.
Florida Craft Art Center
Volunteer
Volunteered at the Art Center in St Pete. Interacted with Florida locals and gained a better understanding of Tampa’s history and local art community, Improved customer service skills. Cleaned, Rang up customers, restocked shelves, mainted day to day operations, organized exhibits, and did paperwork
